Abingdon School: Yang Science Centre

The Yang Science Centre, constructed of mainly brick and timber, provides the historic Abingdon School with 21 laboratories and other flexible working spaces.

As part of a  £15m redevelopment of the science facilities, the Yang Science Centre has a prominent position at one of the entrances to the school grounds.

Following a very exacting design brief, we created the detailed design of this intricate  wood and aluminium facade construction.

We had the pleasure of working with Kingerlee Ltd on this project designed by Hopkins Architects.
