Patrick Ryan Associates are proud to have been appointed as the façade consultants for RIBA stages 3, 4 and 5 for the Tolworth Hospital redevelopment project.

PRA are assisting our clients, Sir Robert McAlpine, and the architects Ryder Architecture in developing the façade design and advising on the proposed façade systems with particular focus on the modular construction. PRA provided the technical design detail, outline specification as well as thermal calculations during RIBA stage 3 and we are currently working towards the completion of RIBA Stage 4. We will also be monitoring the manufacturing and construction of the facades at RIBA stage 5.

This two-storey mental health accommodation will provide inpatient accommodation on 5 separate wards with a total capacity of 90 beds.  The building also provides training facilities for staff and a public restaurant and café to improve accessibility for the local community.  The new development will enhance the existing facilities at Tolworth Hospital, with an integrated landscape and building design.
