Anri presents GW2 Applications at The Building Store

PRA’s John Neale, Robert Quintal and Sarah Andrews were at The Building Centre yesterday, attending a great event organised by Siderise Group, to Support Designers through Gateway 2 and Gateway 3, ensuring Compliance. Our Director, Anri Doda spoke alongside Peter Goff of Buro Happold, representing the Society of Façade Engineering (SFE) BSA Committee.

Peter spoke about the many nuances that surround BSA Compliance, and Anri focussed on what has been learnt so far around Gateway 2 Applications including preparing solution scenarios, employing strong design teams and adopting a collaborative approach from the earliest stage, as well as a deeper look at the application status at present.

We have also heard some other great presentations which highlighted areas such as how the BSA has affected the role of the architect, the complexities of the façade product arena, testing guidance, documentation clarity and the need for increased focus around issues presented at Gateway 3.

It was great to see some of our clients and industry colleagues there too.
