Embodied Carbon Reduction article featured in September CIBSE Journal

We are pleased that our Embodied Carbon Reduction article, produced by Anri Doda and Jill Wang and using our 69 Park Lane refurbishment project as a case study, has been featured in the September edition of the CIBSE Journal.
Working with our client, Commercial Estates Group, we produced the RIBA Stages 3 & 4 designs for the total refurbishment and recladding of the whole façade of 69 Park Lane and we were also involved with the Stage 5 onsite project monitoring throughout the refurbishment.
Our article on Embodied Carbon Reduction, using our work on 69 Park Lane highlights the environmental impact. It demonstrates how we employed the CWCT methodology to come up with options around the replacement of the curtain wall system with a view to reducing the embodied carbon emissions.
Our 69 Park Lane project has also been shortlisted for Sustainability Project of the Year (UK) at the Façade Design and Engineering Awards 2023.
