Façade Focus tackles The Building Safety Act

On October 17th, we hosted our seventh Façade Focus event at Solus, Clerkenwell. This was the second session focussing on the Future of Façade Remediation and this time we looked specifically at the impact of the Building Safety Act (BSA) on the recladding of apartment buildings.
The evening kicked off with a presentation by Patrick Ryan focussing on the challenges we face around timescales, costs, compliance, competency, and collaboration which sparked a discussion with our audience and panellists John Neale, Lesley Lawson and Anri Doda.
This was an open forum for industry professionals from wide ranging organisations to share their thoughts and experiences, all with a view to working more closely together to resolve the challenges the BSA is presenting.
Thanks to everyone who joined us and participated in the discussions. We will be releasing an article on this topic in the coming weeks, and we hope to keep the dialogue open around navigating the responsibilities and legislation within the BSA.

Façade Focus will return in early 2025.
