Mary Ryan

BSc, MA, FCCA, Cert PFS, DChA - Finance Director

Mary is a Chartered Certified Accountant who has operated her own private accountancy practice Ark Accountancy for many years. Her accountancy career started in commerce, followed by 5 years in a major industrial company.

While raising her 3 children she built up her practice experience in conjunction with local accountants and now has an extensive client base of individuals, partnerships, companies and charities.

In addition, she gained the Diploma in Charity Accounting and is a member of the Personal Finance Society.

Her outside interests include music, and she regularly plays piano and sings at her local church and at open-mic nights. She graduated with a Masters from Kingston University in Music a few years ago. Her first degree was in Geology, and she has a teaching certificate. She sometimes gives English lessons to refugees. Her other interests are gardening and babysitting for her grandchildren.
