The Future of Façade Remediation – New article available

We have now published the second article in our series covering The Future of Façade Remediation. Part II looks more closely at the Building Safety Act 2022 and its impact on the recladding of apartment buildings and follows on from our first which took a typical fire recladding project as a case study, namely Caro Point, part of the Grosvenor Waterside complex in London.
The first article introduced some of the challenges we are facing, the environmental verses cost considerations, the role of the Building Safety Act and how these factors are impacting the industry in moving forward.
Our second article tackles the issues surrounding the number of buildings that require remediation, how these projects pose unique challenges and factors to consider such as cost, compliance, and competency.
Both articles are available here along with a range of others covering various façade industry topics.
