BEng AMIMechE - Façade Surveyor

Nick graduated in Motorsport Engineering from Brunel University and began his career in the construction industry progressing from manufacture into design through a variety of subcontractors working in different areas.

His first role at PRA s Façade Designer involved the design of a wide range of building envelopes, encompassing all forms of rainscreen cladding, glazing, and architectural metalwork.

Nick still assists the design team from time to time, but his focus is in the Survey and Investigation team,  carrying out essential work to identify the issues that can lead to façade failure including condition surveys, water ingress detection and structural problems such as loose cladding, corrosion, absent fixings, and weather damage.

Outside the realm of façade design, motor sports is a passion, with Nick having raced karts for 17 years both in the UK and Europe, winning 2 championships along the way. He has recently embraced the new challenge of motorcycle racing, building, and tuning a 400 superstock challenger from his home workshop.
