The Forum, Gloucester – Project Completion

Situated in the heart of Gloucester,  The Forum is a major, £107m digital and technology development which forms a brand-new gateway to the city.

Patrick Ryan Associates have been working as the Façade Consultants alongside our client, Reef + Partners and Project Managers, Cube since our appointment in 2020. 

Initially, PRA reviewed and developed the façade proposals and specifications throughout RIBA Stages 3 & 4 and assisted our clients in achieving the façade performance criteria with a focus on meeting the required U-values and minimising thermal bridging.

Thereafter, our role also included witnessing full scale prototype testing for façade weathertightness to the CWCT standard and site visits during construction. The facade tests, carried out in Luxembourg, formed an important part of the façade procurement process, providing assurance to the client before manufacture began and prior to installation.

Now with its first occupant in place, The Forum stands as a landmark, mixed-use development featuring state of the art office space, hotel, leisure, and retail facilities as well as cathedral view apartments.
