The specification of glass facades in any new build or refurbishment project is a highly complex process, balancing many key considerations from aesthetic vision and building performance to sustainability and end of life recyclability.
Our next Façade Focus event on April 16th looks at Glass Façade Specification, taking in project vision, technical challenges, sustainability considerations, recycling and reuse, glass type pros and cons and the overall lessons learnt around the design and engineering of buildings with glass facades.
Together with presentations from architects Allies and Morrison and glass façade manufacturers Saint Gobain, we will explore the key considerations in glass facade design in both new and refurbished buildings, what are the challenges and solutions.
