City House, Croydon – Fire Remediation Project

Patrick Ryan Associates are proud to have been involved in the fire remediation scheme for City House which comprises over 300 apartments within a high-rise block in the centre of Croydon.

We have been working on this project with our client Fairview New Homes from the early design stages and have prepared the RIBA Stage 4 tender pack including drawings, structural and thermal calculations, and specifications for the remedial works.

Following this, we took on the role of lead designer during Stage 5 and prepared all the construction issue drawings for the scheme.

We were also involved in the construction phase; monitoring compliance of the contractors work to agreed quality standards, tender proposals, specification, and drawings.

“As Built” drawings have been prepared for the final Gateway 3 approval by the BSR and we are pleased to see that our scheme will be one of the few to have gone through a fully successful Building Safety Act, HRB process.

We want to thank all the individuals involved in this scheme. It is fantastic to see the scaffolding removed and another building safely remediated for its occupants.
