Façade Focus Networking is Back!

We’re delighted to be back with another Façade Focus networking event, taking place on Thursday 8th October from 5:30pm in Clerkenwell, London. This time, we’ll be taking a closer look at the award-winning The Forum, Gloucester - a major mixed-use digital and technology development creating a striking new gateway to the city.

The façade is a defining element of this ambitious scheme, bringing together a wide range of technical facade and architectural features, including curved curtain walling, natural ventilation, intricate brickwork, and an integrated media wall.

With speakers including Matthew Borland of Whittam Cox Architects and Anri Doda of Patrick Ryan Associates, we’ll explore the vision behind The Forum, its architectural design and some of the key façade challenges encountered in bringing the project to life.

As well as achieving other industry recognition, The Forum has recently been shortlisted for the Mixed-Use Project Award at the AJ Architecture Awards 2026, providing a fascinating case study with plenty to discuss.

As always, there will also be an opportunity to catch up with industry colleagues, make new connections, and enjoy drinks and nibblesin a relaxed setting.
